LAND MARK IN TRAINING IN MANGANESE ORE (INDIA
For the
first time in MOIL, 52 officials were sent to one of leading Machine tool
manufacturer namely M/s Praga Tools,
1. Testing
Division: Comprising of various instruments including
Portable Ultrasonic Flaw detector, Magnetic particle flow detector, Ultrasonic
Thickness Gauge, Magnetic particle detector equipped with 8A Red and 9 Red etc.
2. Electrical
Division: Comprising of various type of Electrical Motors,
OCB’s, Electrical safety equipments, Sectional views of different type of
Cables, Jointing Kits, Electrical testing instruments, line circuits etc.
3. Mechanical
Division: Comprising of Column Drill Machine, Hand Drills,
Portable grinding machine, Lathe Grinder, Cut off Model of Diesel engine,
battery, radiator etc. working model of SDL/Loco etc.
4. Mining
and Safety Division: Displaying
various safety gadgets, models, safe and unsafe tools, safety and first aid
kits etc.
5. Medical
Division: Indicating the care which employees should take in
their office and personal life.
An Auditorium
has also been established with teaching aids comprising of LCD, Laptop etc.
and provision for 40 participants at a time to undergo training during
the period of Workshop/Seminars.
Vital and high value items have been identified so that officials are imparted training with a view to increase Safety, Productivity as well reduce the cost. Detailed programme every Wednesday have been framed with faculty drawn of senior officials from large and renowned organizations like -
M/s Gulf Oil Corporation (for Explosives and Accessories);
M/s Sandvik Asia Ltd. (for Rock Drilling Tools & Mechanized
Mining Equipment);
M/s Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. (for Industrial Pump sets);
M/s Usha Martin (for Wire Ropes);
M/s Fag Bearing Ltd. (for Bearings);
M/s Diffusion Engineers (for Special Purpose Electrodes);
M/s GMMCO/M/s Caterpillar/M/s BEML (for Heavy Earth
Moving
vehicles);
M/s Indian Oil Corn. ( for HSD & Lubricants); etc.
Eight Workshops have already been successfully completed till December 2006. The Workshops received overwhelming response from the participants and were highly interactive with the faculty members exchanging the views and experiences.
While
inaugurating the Training Centre Shri
Kishan Lal Mehrotraa CMD MOIL mentioned that learning must be continuous
process and with full throttle the productivity has to be increased and cost
reduced to accomplish MOIL’s
