One of the outcomes of CPSE conclave held on 9th April, 2018, was to develop a common knowledge management portal for all CPSEs. On behalf of the DPE, the website is designed & developed by ONGC and implemented by Velocis Systems Pvt. Ltd, NOIDA, who are the System Integrators and responsible for hosting & managing the website.

The primary objective of the website is to create a platform for enabling individuals, teams & entire public sector enterprises to collectively and systematically share knowledge, Infrastructure, Best practices, SOP etc. to learn from others’ experiences and to attain greater heights.

This portal is first of its kind in the world which will bring 300+ companies under one umbrella with the purpose of increasing skill, speed and scale, leading to efficiency and timeliness by way of access to over 11 lakh users of CPSEs. The KMS shall be implemented in 3 phases: Phase-I being launched on July 19, 2018 with 5000 users and 500 concurrent sessions for approximately 50 listed CPSEs (to be developed on closed source software/platform); Phase-II to be completed by Dec 31,2018 with 50000 users, 5000 concurrent sessions for approximately 167 profit-making PSEs and their Ministries (to be developed on closed source software/platform); the final Phase-III (Part-1) to be completed by Jun 1, 2019 covering all CPSEs (1,00,000 users) and their associated Ministries (to be developed on closed source software/platform).
